Half a day of cycling related school holiday fun. Between 9 and 12, or 1 and 4 your child will learn some basic mountain biking skills on our track full of bumps and obstacles, before heading out on the local trails and quiet country lanes.
A whole day of cycling related school holiday fun. Between 9 and 4 your child will learn some basic mountain biking skills on our track full of bumps and obstacles, before heading out on the local trails and quiet country lanes, or jumping in the van to a local trail centre.
A personalised, bespoke tour can be arranged, built around exactly what you would like to do and where you want to stay.
KIDS CYCLING HALF DAY (MORNING)
What you get
Half a day of cycling related school holiday fun. Between 9 and 12 your child will learn some basic mountain biking skills on our track full of bumps and obstacles, before heading out on the local trails and quiet country lanes.
Specifically….

Small groups, minimum 3, maximum 8

Skills instruction on riding position, braking and gears, plus puncture repairs (if we have any)
-
Off road as much as possible, with road sections sticking to quieter lanes
What you need to bring
-
A mountain or hybrid bike – (hire options available)
-
A helmet (hire helmets available)
-
The right clothes to cover all weathers (weather conditions can change quickly so don’t forget your waterproof)
-
Snacks and a drink
-
Your child needs to be able to ride a bike and year 3 or older
-
A sense of adventure and prepared to have fun and maybe get a bit muddy.
£20 for half a day
Extra £10 for bike and helmet hire

Between 9 and 4 (9 till 3 for Christmas 2020) your child will learn some basic mountain biking skills on our track full of bumps and obstacles, before heading out on the local trails and quiet country lanes, or jumping in the van to a local trail centre.
Specifically….

For groups of up to 5, riding at a local trail centre (Hicks Lodge or Sherwood Pines) – for some more experienced groups, we will head to The Peak District

£30 for whole day (£27 for Christmas 2020)

A personalised, bespoke tour can be arranged, built around exactly what you would like to do and where you want to stay. The cost of your bespoke tour will be worked out after we have spoken and agreed your needs, however the more people you bring, the better the value for everyone.
